Current Operating Times & Dates

The Stubai Glacier is open for around 10 months a year. From mid-October to May, you can enjoy skiing here, while from July to mid-September, the Stubai Glacier is a popular destination for families, hikers, and via ferrata enthusiasts. Check out the current opening hours here.

Seasons

 Summer season 2026 

20 June to 27 September 2026*

  • 4 July to 6 September 2026: Full summer operation. Ascent to the TOP OF TYROL at 3,210 m.
  • 7 September – 27 September 2026: Ascent to the Fernau middle station at 2,300 m.

 During the summer season, there is no ski operation and no transport of guests with winter sports equipment.

Opening hours for the Neustift advance ticket sales office
Our ticket office in Neustift (opposite the BP petrol station) is open from the end of September to May at the following times:  

Monday to Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. & 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. 
Sundays and public holidays 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. & 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Self-service ticket machine available
  • Group enquiries can be processed
